Trish Deseine is a gourmet and has a passion for writing. She was born in Belfast but has been living in France for 20 years. In 7 years, she became one of the star authors of the Marabout editions by publishing a dozen of books, most of which have been rewarded and traducted in about 10 languages. Her practical books, always useful and terribly esthetic, are full of ingenious ideas.
The most famous of them, « I want chocolate », has already been sold in more than 400 000 copies all over the world. In year 2006, Trish got the prize La Mazille in Périgueux for "My little black dress" ».
In France, she writes a column about famous Chefs in ELLE à Table and often writes on the website www.lefooding.com. In Ireland, she is the food writer of the woman magazine IMAGE and of the weekly RTE guide. Her TV Show "Trish's Paris Kitchen" is now broadcasted on RTE 1 in Ireland and on UKTV in the UK, as well as on the BBC Worldwide network. She will shoot the sequel in South of France this automn. Her second book in English « Trish’s French Kitchen » will be published in october in the UK and in the USA.
